Over the past series we have seen on multiple occasions the childish attitude of Puig come out throughout the games. For instance in game 4 he hit a ball to opposite field and thought it was a homerun. We know he thought this because he threw his bat and did a huge dramatic pose pointing at the sky before running the bases. Then shortly after he began to round the bases, it became very apparent to him that he had not hit a homerun and that the ball bounced off the wall. Luckily due to his speed he got a triple but then continued to celebrate once at third. He made a complete idiot of himself! You look at a guy like Puig and tell me that he is not the cockiest player in the major league! He showboats on his first hit in the series! Its game 4 in the series and you dont have a hit!!!!! Then it comes back to bite him! He deserves every bad comment he gets because he puts himself in that position on an every game basis! You CANNOT dance around and sing to the music after you think you hit a homerun and then only get a triple. You look like an absolute idiot! You wonder why every team in the majors hates you? There is the reason why! Quit the showboating and play baseball! He has talent but it is so covered up by his childish actions that he becomes the most controversial player in baseball. Im surprised he doesnt get thrown at when at the plate more often. That may be the lesson he needs to learn. Someone in that organization needs to pull Puig aside and really let him have it before other teams do it for them!

Kansas City Royals infielder Miguel Tejada has been suspended for 105 games by the MLB for testing positive for PED’s. Tejada’s suspension is effective immediately but he says that he didn’t do it to cheat. Tejada said in an interview with Enrique Rojas of that he had been using Adderall for the past five years with permission from the MLB but that his last permit expired on April 15th. Tejada also said that he had to continue to take the medicine because he suffers from ADD. Although he uses the medicine for medical reasons, he did not have a permit and will have to serve the suspension in its entirety.

Saturday afternoon New York Yankees President Randy Levine challenged Alex Rodriguez to release his medical records after Rodriguez accused the team of misleading him about the extent of his injuries. Rodriguez lawyer says that the team withheld information about how severe his injury was in hopes that he would never play again. In a phone conversation with, Levine said that Alex should “put up or shut up”.

The Cardinals defeated the Chicago Cubs Sunday afternoon by a final score of 6-1. Jon Jay started off the scoring in the second inning with a double scoring Yadier Molina. Matt Carpenter then added to the lead when he drove home 2 more on a single to center. The Cubs answered back in the sixth with one run but Jon Jay wasn’t done yet. In the seventh, Jay hit a three run homer to center making it 6-1. That was when things got ugly. In the bottom of the inning, Cubs GM Dale Sveum and pitcher James Russel were both ejected after arguing a check swing call. Russel clearly did not go around on the pitch by Wainwright but was called out on strikes with runners on 1st and 2nd. The Cubs did not bring anyone home and Wainwright got his 14th win of the season. The Cards will face off against Milwaukee tomorrow night.
